Mac n Cheese Cake

Idea asalnya nak buat pizza tp disbbkan pasta dah menggunung, panggil kek terus. Truthfully kek ini made from lunch's leftovers sbb I rebus too much pasta.

Bahan2:
1/3 carrot sliced, 2/3 @ 1/2 cawan pasta, sos tomato, 1/2 bawang merah sliced, 1 tortilla wrap, mozarella, 2 sliced cheese dipotong 4

How-to:
Rebuskan pasta. Kukuskan carrot. Sapukan sos tomato pd tortilla wrap. Letakkan mozarella sekadar utk menutup sos tomato pd wrap, tak perlu banyak sangat. letakkan 1/3 daripada pasta yg direbus pd wrap. taburkan bawang. letakkan lebihan pasta pd wrap. taburkan carrot. coverkan ngan mozarella sbnyk mana yg korang nak. letakkan sliced cheese. masukkan dlm oven. bakar pd 200+ drjh celsius n bakar selama 10 min.

also, sy tak pandai masak n truthfully, sy nyesal letak carrot.

About Detox Juice (and YOUR INTESTINES)

Okay, so it's been a while since I properly type onto this blog and not just randomly post irrelevant things. Ok, so here we go...

I'm not sure if any of you guys remembered but I once made a post, promoting someone's version of detox juice. Anyway, if you want to find said detox juice, just Google 'PrincessYanti Jus Detoks'.

So rumors have been going around that detox juice plays a part in dieting. Now I'm not a professional nutritionist but I did a little research about diets revolving around detox juice and so far I've only got one that requires the person to eat fruits for a whole week.

I haven't tried it yet, nor do I plan to. But today, I'm trying to focus on just detox juice. Supposedly, detox juices are suppose to clean your intestines and make you go to the toilet everyday.

Well, here's a little advice; you CAN take detox juice to clean your intestines, but there's a much much more effective method (for me that is). Let's go back to the basics: fruits and vegetables.

Compared to detox juices, fruits and vegetables are better choices. The fruits that I recommend would be ones that tastes sour (idk it just works, I lack the required knowledge to explain it in detail). Good examples would be oranges, lemons, green apples, etc. But my teacher told me that papaya (betik) also works.

But the best choice would be vegetables, especially the green ones. I can't give any good examples here because I don't eat much vegetables but the first thing that popped into my head is spinach. Spinach is very good because it has protein and iron (this is the only lesson I remembered from my past science teacher).

Also today in Biology, my teacher told the whole class that olive oil and habbatus saudah is super super good for you. If I remember all her words, I could practically write an essay about just those two things.

In conclusion, there is more than one way to clean your intestines/get rid of toxic/toxins. Said ways are by taking either fruits, vegetables, olive oil or habbatus saudah.

tbh, I made this post because detox juice didn't show much result for me compared to fruits.

Subway yang dekat-dekat ngan Dominoes tu..

We do take-outs on Saturday nights. Anyways, we usually go to this mamak on Saturday nights except yesterday, we didn't. In fact, Dad drove somewhere >5 KM away only for this new outlet.

Dad drove to Mount Austin and as always, lil bro slept through the whole ride while Mom calling Uncle to find where in the world Subway is. And Dad's having problems with the GPS.

During the ride, we were like, so close to Jusco and me and my bro couldn't help but staring with hopeful eyes. And that's when Mom said:

"No, we're not going into that building"

I know exactly what she's implying on but I asked anyway. "What building?"

Dad had to stop to check just where in the world is this new outlet. Uncle said it is in Jusco and that's where we went; Jusco. This is the part where I started to get my hopes up.

Internally, I was all: "Oh My God!! Jusco!! It's been months since I did any shopping!! Twilight and Breaking Dawn, here I come!!"

When I got out of the car, I smiled smugly at Mom. " Not going into the building, eh?" Mom just smiled in response.

The first moment we entered the shopping mall, I inhaled deeply because Jusco's air is the kind of air you would want to stuff inside your lungs and never let it out. So, in every step I took in that shopping mall, I took deep breaths endlessly.

We went to the food court because that's where Uncle said it would be. It was, until Dad asked on of the guards if there's Subway in the mall. The answer? No.

Mentally, it was a slap in the face and I started blaming the earth and its occupants for existing. I went back to the car in slow steps with my shoulders hunched. The disappointment in my face is apparent.

I sat like a stone in the car. We continued to search for Subway. Everyone was running out of patience and Mom finally decided to call Auntie Yusnita for directions. And surprise, surprise. Turns out, it was on the same street Dominoes was.

Dad asked Mom for directions to Dominoes. Dad dropped us in front of Subway and  he went to look for a parking space. We went inside. I was still disappointed at that time that I couldn't really care to savour the moment of my first time going to Subway.

Here's how the orders work in Subway.

  1. Choose whether you want a footlong, 6-inch or wrap
  2. Choose what typed of bread you want
  3. Choose set (chicken slice, roasted chicken, turkey breast, etc.)
  4. Choose vegetables (tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, lettuce, etc.)
  5. Choose sauce (chilli, ketchup, mustard, barbecue, mayonnaise, etc.)
  6. And then you choose your drinks. If you want the meal set, you could add cookies or fries or whatever they have in store.
Notes: The next time I go to Subway, I wouldn't put vegetables on mine. Oh yeah, I got a footlong chicken slice filled with all the veggies I listed, with mayonnaise, honey mustard, and chilli.

It was nice. But it could have been better if you subtract all the vegetables. Plus, I'd recommend for you to get the turkey breast chicken slice. Also, pick footlong. You wouldn't get enough with just 6-inch.

Dad and my bro got grabby so they took a bite out of my sandwich. I kept glaring at my bro as if I have supernatural powers that could kill him. Who wouldn't? I mean, I have to go through all the the hullaballoos in the car while he slept through it.

My bro finished his soda but not his sandwich with one stupid reason, the frikkin lettuces and tomatoes. My other bro, wanting him to get it over with handed him  his soda. Note-to-self, if your brother doesn't finish his sandwich, instead of giving your soda, chomp the frikkin sandwich.

In the end, I'm the only one with a soda in my hand.

The sandwich was nice but I think my neighbors(professional cooks) could whip something like that. I mean, you just grab that long french bread and you put in slices of chickens and beef and cheese and whatever you like.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot; after they put the chicken slices and cheese on the half-sliced bread, they heat in a microwave or oven or whatever. Which is why it is delicious cuz it's crunchy with the french bread and the cheese melting into the chicken slices.

Mom also spent over $80 for only sandwiches. Like I said, you could easily make this at home. No need to go here and there searching for Subway, like my parents did. And lose $80.

P/S: I'm still disappointed we didn't go to Jusco.
