Registering Scribd

Okay, so untuk hari ini ana* (*saya dlm bahasa Arab) nak citer tentang pengalaman ana di scribd.

Citernya mula cam gini. Minggu depan ana ada ULBS aka Ujian L:isan, etc. Tapi asalnya, sebelum tukar jadual, ana punya time wktu Raya Cina. So konfemlah tak buat kan? Postpone lagi 2 minggu... tp pastu tukar pulak jadual. Sehari sebelum cuti  lah grup ana kene buat ULBS.

Kumpulan ana buat forum tapi masalahnya kitorang baru carik isi (faktor, langkah n kesan). Problemnye pulak is ana n some friends x pandai susun ayat. So kitorang pon blur kejap lah. Yg pandai menulis pon sorang je dlm grup tu tp takleh nk bincang sbb dia ni agak busy. Maklumlah, pengawas kan~

Anyways, so ana tengok balik group chat team ana. kot kot ada update ke kan. Pastu sorang lg member ana screencap scribd. Yelah, sbb nk download kene register. -_-.

First2 ana ingat ana ni cukup rajin lah kan nk type sume screencap dia tu. Tp smapi je muka surat 3, punya tulang belakang dah sakit sbb membongkok wktu typing. Ana ingat nk print je screencap nya.

So ana pon transfer lah file ke komputer. Tp wktu check balik file size, saiznye kcik2 n disebabkan its screencap, kat tepi2 dia tu ada frame. -_-.

So ana pon continue typing je lah. Kali ni senang sikit sebab takdelah kejap pusing n tundukkan kepala nak tengok fon pastu pandang skrin komputer. Sambil ana bukak MS Word, ana bukak image screencap kat sebelah. Tak sampai 1 jam ana pon dah nak start give up.

But then...

ana got an idea. Ana teringat yg kwn ana screencap sume bende ni dari scribd. So ana copy sikit words yg ana type tadi and ana Google. Pastu ana pon jumpa lah fail scribd yang ana cari. memang sama ^-^.

Ana pon cuba lah download file nye, tp kene register.

Register? No problem...

Tapi. Tapi tapi tapi tapi tapi...

Lepas ana register, ada pulak kene membership and payment bagai kalo nk download. Fuhhhhh. Ngeluh paanjang.

But then...

ana baca at the bottom, dia ada tulis kalo ana upload ana sendiri punya file, ana boleh gain access membership.

Ana pon teringat balik time ana nk buat scrapbook dulu. tak publish, tapi ana masih lagi simpan word file dia (pasal maid cafe, gyaru and lolita).

Buat apa lagi? Ana pon upload lah sume. Alhamdulillah, disebabkan ianya word file, upload time takdelah lama sangat cam nk upload video kat YouTube.

Lepas abis upload, scribd pon bagi lah ana access untuk download file yg ana nk td.

Ana download. And then, print...

Print? no problem...

masalahnya ana dari tadi dah berkali-kali salah print. Buat bazir ink!!! Fuhhhh!!!

Entah brape paper dah yang ana bazir. Tapi ana buat investigation psl printer ana and then akhirnya ana pon dapatlah print wordfile ngan sempurna. Tapi tu baru satu salinan...

Ana kene buat lagi 4 salinan sbb grup ana ada 5 member. Tiba2 wktu ana print, printer buat hal pulak... Bazir lagi paper ana.

Beberapa minit kemudian, problem ana dah selesai. Terus ana tutup printer and word file. Alhamdulillah. ^_^

Wishes Do Come True

If you really, REALLY want it, then you WILL get it!
- my English teacher
So my English teacher had just opened my eyes with the above statement. Quoting her, she said that people would go to great lengths to get what they want, which resulted in them getting it.

My teacher also gave an example. Say, a teen wants an iPhone. She'd go all:

"Mom, PUH-leeeeaaaaassseeee (please)!!!

My teacher said that the teen would keep pestering her Mother until something finally breaks.

"Okay, fine! Here, take the money!" the Mom would say.

But what my teacher meant from the quote is not about pestering your moms to get iPhones. She meant if you really, REALLY want Straight A's, you WILL get it. She said that despite the stress, exhaustion and such, we would keep on studying until we finally get it.

She said that we'd have no problem getting what we want, as long as we keep wanting it.

So I'm guessing Cinderella was right when she said if you wish with all your heart, your dreams will come true.

Subway yang dekat-dekat ngan Dominoes tu..

We do take-outs on Saturday nights. Anyways, we usually go to this mamak on Saturday nights except yesterday, we didn't. In fact, Dad drove somewhere >5 KM away only for this new outlet.

Dad drove to Mount Austin and as always, lil bro slept through the whole ride while Mom calling Uncle to find where in the world Subway is. And Dad's having problems with the GPS.

During the ride, we were like, so close to Jusco and me and my bro couldn't help but staring with hopeful eyes. And that's when Mom said:

"No, we're not going into that building"

I know exactly what she's implying on but I asked anyway. "What building?"

Dad had to stop to check just where in the world is this new outlet. Uncle said it is in Jusco and that's where we went; Jusco. This is the part where I started to get my hopes up.

Internally, I was all: "Oh My God!! Jusco!! It's been months since I did any shopping!! Twilight and Breaking Dawn, here I come!!"

When I got out of the car, I smiled smugly at Mom. " Not going into the building, eh?" Mom just smiled in response.

The first moment we entered the shopping mall, I inhaled deeply because Jusco's air is the kind of air you would want to stuff inside your lungs and never let it out. So, in every step I took in that shopping mall, I took deep breaths endlessly.

We went to the food court because that's where Uncle said it would be. It was, until Dad asked on of the guards if there's Subway in the mall. The answer? No.

Mentally, it was a slap in the face and I started blaming the earth and its occupants for existing. I went back to the car in slow steps with my shoulders hunched. The disappointment in my face is apparent.

I sat like a stone in the car. We continued to search for Subway. Everyone was running out of patience and Mom finally decided to call Auntie Yusnita for directions. And surprise, surprise. Turns out, it was on the same street Dominoes was.

Dad asked Mom for directions to Dominoes. Dad dropped us in front of Subway and  he went to look for a parking space. We went inside. I was still disappointed at that time that I couldn't really care to savour the moment of my first time going to Subway.

Here's how the orders work in Subway.

  1. Choose whether you want a footlong, 6-inch or wrap
  2. Choose what typed of bread you want
  3. Choose set (chicken slice, roasted chicken, turkey breast, etc.)
  4. Choose vegetables (tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, lettuce, etc.)
  5. Choose sauce (chilli, ketchup, mustard, barbecue, mayonnaise, etc.)
  6. And then you choose your drinks. If you want the meal set, you could add cookies or fries or whatever they have in store.
Notes: The next time I go to Subway, I wouldn't put vegetables on mine. Oh yeah, I got a footlong chicken slice filled with all the veggies I listed, with mayonnaise, honey mustard, and chilli.

It was nice. But it could have been better if you subtract all the vegetables. Plus, I'd recommend for you to get the turkey breast chicken slice. Also, pick footlong. You wouldn't get enough with just 6-inch.

Dad and my bro got grabby so they took a bite out of my sandwich. I kept glaring at my bro as if I have supernatural powers that could kill him. Who wouldn't? I mean, I have to go through all the the hullaballoos in the car while he slept through it.

My bro finished his soda but not his sandwich with one stupid reason, the frikkin lettuces and tomatoes. My other bro, wanting him to get it over with handed him  his soda. Note-to-self, if your brother doesn't finish his sandwich, instead of giving your soda, chomp the frikkin sandwich.

In the end, I'm the only one with a soda in my hand.

The sandwich was nice but I think my neighbors(professional cooks) could whip something like that. I mean, you just grab that long french bread and you put in slices of chickens and beef and cheese and whatever you like.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot; after they put the chicken slices and cheese on the half-sliced bread, they heat in a microwave or oven or whatever. Which is why it is delicious cuz it's crunchy with the french bread and the cheese melting into the chicken slices.

Mom also spent over $80 for only sandwiches. Like I said, you could easily make this at home. No need to go here and there searching for Subway, like my parents did. And lose $80.

P/S: I'm still disappointed we didn't go to Jusco.

Cendawan

Hello to October. So it's the first of October and it's my friend's birthday and I haven't got anything yet cuz I'm too busy being here, typing my life away. And yeah, so, I've been playing a lot of Facebook games lately and I won't stop till I reached about level 40 or more. And I'm saving money for Muse's new album.

So, aku ni suka sangat makan cendawan, at the same time, aku terbaca tentang fakta yang mengatakan bahawa ada sejenis cendawa yang boleh buat kita manusia lebih kreatif dan curious.

Here's a story:

Once upon a time,

a writer is pacing back and forth because he has ran out of ideas to write in his new novel. Getting tired walking at the same place, he found himself sitting on a tree branch, looking exhausted. And then, he remembered about the mushrooms his friend gave him.

The writer dashed into his house and found it lying on the table. What's it's name again? Oh, right. Psilocybin Mushrooms (AKA Magic Mushrooms).

He ate it and he suddenly had a weird feeling inside him that makes him wanna go all jumpy and running around and want to go outside and wonder about nature.

Then he got an idea for his new book. He went back to his writing desk, dipped his quill in ink, and began to write.

THE END

Facts: Magic mushrooms or psilocybin can make you permanently more creative, curious and inquisitive.
