Wishes Do Come True

If you really, REALLY want it, then you WILL get it!
- my English teacher
So my English teacher had just opened my eyes with the above statement. Quoting her, she said that people would go to great lengths to get what they want, which resulted in them getting it.

My teacher also gave an example. Say, a teen wants an iPhone. She'd go all:

"Mom, PUH-leeeeaaaaassseeee (please)!!!

My teacher said that the teen would keep pestering her Mother until something finally breaks.

"Okay, fine! Here, take the money!" the Mom would say.

But what my teacher meant from the quote is not about pestering your moms to get iPhones. She meant if you really, REALLY want Straight A's, you WILL get it. She said that despite the stress, exhaustion and such, we would keep on studying until we finally get it.

She said that we'd have no problem getting what we want, as long as we keep wanting it.

So I'm guessing Cinderella was right when she said if you wish with all your heart, your dreams will come true.

Morning Crays

I woke up on a Saturday morning and went back to sleep at 6 because no one sane would be up at 6 unless they're getting ready for work.

Anyway, an hour after I went back to sleep, Dad knocked on my door. In response, I woke up, went to the door and...

"Pack your things. We're going to Batam."

-

I sat on the bed, staring at the wall as if trying to make sure whether what I just heard is real or not. At first, I thought it was a dream and usually when I think I dream, I'd jump high in the air to see if I can fly. And at the moment, I thought of jumping off the stairs but I was too tired to do that.

So, I thank God for saving me from committing suicide.

-

"WTF is Batam?" I asked in annoyance.

"It's someplace in Indonesia."

-

And yes, I went to Batam. Two days and one night only.

Legoland

I went to Legoland yesterday. The rides were super-awesome and I just love the acceleration and especially when I was on the roller-coaster and we fell.

Not as good as Universal Studios, though. But, oh well, they tried and it's good even for starters.

Again, the rides were super-awesome but the long lines and hot weather were gay as fuck.

I'm pretty sure my Dad himself had a good time.

P/S: You should've seen the look on my brother's face when we ride the roller-coaster. He was so scared that he shouted for Mom on the ride. It was EPIC.

(Guys, please comment. I've been through a lot just to enable comments.)
